Having to wait 6-8 weeks for a rebate is like waiting for FEMA to give you disaster relief.

Also, finding a Menards for me is like looking for Circuit City or K-Mart.

Menards rebates do not take 6 - 8 weeks and waiting for a store credit is nothing like waiting for disaster relief.

My experience with super cheap mounts isn't a fear of them falling, but the poor manufacturing tolerances. You can install the wall bracket perfectly level and verify the TVs VESA holes are properly spaced and the TV will still be out of level due to the brackets attached to the tv having poor tolerances. I will not buy another tv wall mount that does not have adjustability after hanging. There are many Amazon budget models that have this feature and is well worth the money. My $0.02...
