It may already be clear in earlier comments, but this is not a true BOGO deal. It was up to $1100 back (or it might have been $1,000 - can't remember) on the purchase of two Samsung Galaxy phones. I can't remember if the Note was an option (didn't get a clear look at their promo folder, and the display didn't make it clear), but it definitely included all S10 models (S10e, S10, S10+). There is a reasonable chance it includes the Note given the rebate amount - worth checking since the cost of the S10+ is $900 (so why would the rebate be up to $1000 or $100?).
The Active Watch 2 definitely makes this deal slick but unlike the rebate above, I am pretty sure this works only on the S10 series phones, not Notes. My Costco (Gilbert, AZ) has a choice of the 40mm in Rose Gold ($270) or the 44mm in black ($290). You could choose any two, and the price was discounted in full at the register. The 44mm has a significantly larger battery (340mAh vs 247mAh). Both include an extra charger. I got two of the more expensive 44mm watches to maximize the deal. I don't have big wrists and don't like clunky watches, but the 44mm fits me fine and is slim and comfortable enough that I don't even notice I'm wearing it.
I opted for the Spigen case + screen protector bundle for $20 just to have something immediately to protect my phone. $20 for that. The case is nothing special, but good quality and slim design even with the built-in kickstand. With this, the two S10 phones, and the two 44mm Active 2 watches, the total with tax came to $1468.17. I assume I'll get $649.99 back for the rebate for a net cost of $818.18. I would have rather had the S10+, but for an extra $250 (+tax * 2), that would have been a lot of cash to front. The rebate is supposed to take up to 8 weeks. I was told people are getting them in as little as 4-5 weeks, so well within the 90-day Costco return window if you run into any problems (or a slicker deal!).

Why does anybody hate an "add-a-line" promo or any other promo? If a promo doesn't appeal to someone they can just ignore it and skip the hate and the stress. As for the add-a-line promos specifically, people with children coming of age or expanding cottage businesses, among others, may love these promos. Everybody would be a lot better off if they focused on what they could enjoy and use instead of something that isn't relevant to them.
I don't think there is any plan restriction. I was able to do this in simple choice 4gb
