they just announced season 2 characters. i think like last week at japan evo.

i also got the free season 1 pass on two accounts.

if something is free, should always download it even if you don't have the game... but plan on getting it eventually.

With regards to the Free Season Pass, it was originally for people who bought either pre-ordered or purchased the game in the first couple of weeks upon release, hence why it was free. This was in lieu of doing something like a code or whatever in the box/ on the receipt.

No, the Season 1 Pass was given out free for a limited time. I did not purchase the game but still claimed it while it was free.
