Normal Echos sometimes forget that they're supposed to be at low volume, in Do Not Disturb, or in whisper mode. Example: walk into baby's nursery with a sleeping baby, and whisper "Alexa, lights ten percent".
Response: "IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU JUST WHISPERED TO ME. TO ENABLE WHISPER MODE, SAY 'ENABLE WHISPER MODE.' NOW SETTING LIGHTS TO TEN PERCENT"
This has happened to me and I wanted to throw the Echo through the damn wall. I had damn well set the Echo to be low volume, I had damn well enabled whisper mode a long time ago. But they're a bit quirky and unreliable. This seems like a good option if you really don't want audio feedback in a certain room.
