I am looking to buy a decent phone for the kids, their old phones are acting up, (battery doesn't hold charge) would this be an OK phone for them? Or is this really low end?

Not directly as the minutes are tied to the phone upon activation. You can transfer # and unused services to the new phone and then transfer back and the balances should carry over.

It is an okay phone, but it is locked to TracFone. I believe, you would have to wait 1 year (and 1 month) to unlock and use.

Would make sense if it was mainly distributed by tracfone. Too lazy to look but could incentivize a casual to buy this versus the other basic phone of same price. Those that want a phone with specs worthy of a cool name probably paying a grand a year for a post paid flagship phone and most likely overpaying for their needs. I would love to witness a situation where someone buys this at "full price" thinking they were getting something close to an iPhone x. If they also sell unlocked versions, LG are dicks, lol.

Add on year, more minutes, with phone $50. Perfect for regular Tracfone users. Only better is getting a 32GB/3+GB ram one, with better cameras for under $100.

Thanks, I'll pass. I thought this was like a sprint MVNO or something. I'll check out swappa or something, sprint phones are always cheap there.

Rebel 4 has slightly smaller 5" screen, older version of Android (phone is from 2018). Premier Pro has Android 8.1 and 5.3 screen.
