For what it's worth, I bought these on Black Friday. Let me say, these are amazing. Battery life is great, fit is perfect, and audio quality is superb. One of my favorite features is the audio passthrough feature that lets you hear the outside world with these in. The other is the fact you can use either left or right as a single bud, as they both connect to the device independently, unlike others like the Jabra where the left connects to the right bud, meaning you can only use the right if you want to use a single bud.
At first call quality was complete crap on these Sonys, but they just came out with an update about 2 weeks ago that (surprisingly) actually fixed it. So these are all around perfect now. And for those that say you can't do any strenuous activities with them because they'll fall out of your ears, that hasn't been the case for me. I've gone for multiple runs and they never budge even with the stock rubber tips. Now, every ear is different, so I suppose ymmv, but just giving my two cents. If you're in the market for true wireless, look no further.
They're larger and heavier than the AirPods Pro, they have much better ANC (this is objectively demonstrated, ignore any anecdotes that say otherwise, as none of them have wavelength analysis to back up their claims: including Rtings), they have better battery life, they sound significantly better, they have worse connection and do not sync as quickly as AirPods Pros. In my ears the AirPods fit much better, and they're less noticeable. The XM3 is much more noticeable, but they're better for any loud situation. The XM3 has the downside of having the ANC feedback noise, which the AirPods don't.
The case is also much, much larger than the AirPods case. Which makes bringing it around slightly more annoying
Wrong. Sony with my iPhone are going strong and love my XM3.

Goes for $198 New on Amazon, not familiar with the company that makes the battery pack but this seems like a great deal, What's the warranty like on this?

having used both, basically I think it can be summarized like this
Sony's battery and overall sound is better, but bulkier and doesn't fit in ear as well
Apple are super light and have good ANC, but overall sound quality is just good (not great)
Can't go wrong with either, but I personally prefer the Sonys

How are calls? I heard that airpods pro are better for calls, but I felt that they were worse than the regular airpods which were good. Sony I hear are worse for calls.

it's for sure the weakest part of the Sonys
I'm not on the phone a lot but I did try it out just to see for myself and I'd say it's like a 5/10
That said, the headphones have had 2 firmware updates so I'd say it's definitely improved
Maybe not at the same quality of apple, but not as bad as it was before
Anyone have any experience talking through these? Can the person on the other end hear okay? how about background noise? One of the downsides of my over the ear XM2's.
