The mention of 35 was for reference. The point is these last for 8 months, and even if you cycle them every 6 months like I do, that gives plenty of time to find a better deal. I suppose if you just got a new dog and need it now, then the price is fair.
Source: I have talked to several of my local vets who have confirmed this. My local shelter confirmed this when I recently rescued a new pup, saying there was a spree of bad collars with bunk meds that were causing near fatal reactions from Amazon. Reading the Seresto reviews on Amazon shows numerous users who confirmed with Bayer that they were counterfeit. Google search users talking about it on Reddit, forums, and other sources.
Summary: Avoid pet meds on Amazon like the plague. Generally speaking, Amazon has a serious counterfeit issue across their entire website, and the last thing you want to take a chance on are bad meds that you use on your loved ones just to save a few dollars.
