I'll never take a picture that would pay for this camera.
Medium Format is really just an entirely different animal, no one is using these things for high speed sports, etc. The MP count doesn't even matter as much - the sensor on this is just much larger than the A7RIV. You definitely need to know WHY you're buying an MF though, not just grabbing one because it is expensive. They are great for product/commercial photos, landscape, portraits, but I agree, the vast majority of people have no need for one.
This is a great deal. I'd love to have one of these but I really don't have the budget for a $3500 MF camera + lenses.

Kudos to anyone who is able to get in on it!

Fantastic camera for those who can use it to increase their profits or just have enough cash up upgrade their hobby. Pixel peeping is fun with the files from Fuji's medium format.

damn only as expensive as the a7riv - not on sale.

crazy. and lens prices are actually quite comparable to high quality glasses from any of the FF manufacturers.

Medium format... so potentially insane bokeh?

Great price for a medium format, too bad I'm heavily invested in the Sony full frame mirrorless system.

From the reviews, 50R misses focus all the time. If the subject barely moves, the pictures may not be sharp. 3FPS autofocus. A7rIV is up to 20 now. The obvious benefit is the super smooth bokeh and transition area with medium format.

But as an enthusiast, it certainly is very enticing to own a medium format.

For those want to see size comparison.

Sensor size seems to correlate with autofocus performance, though obviously not the only variable , that's my personal experience.

Bruh, it might be time to update your hardware to a $500 prebuilt.
