Great deal. Got the wife a pair of full height brown ice maiden boots for Christmas. The shorter black ones will be a nice addition! These are great quality and super comfy. Great buy

I had a pair of their hiking shoes like the ivo shown, turned out to be one of the better shoes I'd purchased and helped heal a foot problem I'd gotten from another pair!

I just ordered every model of these shoes that they had in size 15. I wait and watch for a long time for sales like this one. It's so rare to get really high quality, waterproof, size 15 shoes/boots in general. Let alone along with a huge discount.

Thanks OP, thumbed and repped. My wife just completed all of her valentine's day shopping for me completed with me doing a couple clicks on my phone. So she's happy about that.

For the money Columbia boots are great. Have had a few pair and waterproofing held up over time. Compared to Eddie Bauer at a higher price point where I've had waterproofing fail so much I gave up on their brand. At least they give you a refund. Obez is my current heavier duty boot of choice. Merrell for light trails in the summer. Innov8 for trail running. Eddie Bauer for the trash. Columbia for a budget.

Don't go cheap on outdoor footwear. I used to wear Merrell and then their quality started getting worse and switched to Keen and Keen remains my goto sandals/hiker boots.

I've owned Columbia once and they are ok for $50 pricepoint. Unlike Keen, they use cheap bonded leather which is just glued on. If u put a lot of miles, the soles/stitching start coming apart.

Goto Rei and any outdoor store and most carry Columbia, Keen, Merrell. You'll easily see the difference in quality (and the cheap price).

I got bitten by a stingray in Fiji last year in shallow waters and the Keen sandals (and their thick leather) was what protected my feet (due to the leather strap, the barb sting only cut thru one inch of nerve/tissue.). If I was wearing a cheaper brand, the damage would have been a lot worse.

I use to buy Columbia, Sorel, and TNFace boots on sale all the time and they would ALL fall apart at the seams or the outer soles would peel off quickly (within several months to a yr). I worked on the runways of air fields/airports and walked a lot in all weather conditions.

Great thing about the boots is most were still covered under warranty so I would just swap them for a new pair.

No wide sizes in the shoes, just in the boots. Have to pass.

Never had Columbia, but Sorel and TNF, in my experience, are very poorly made boots for at least the past 10 years or so. My second and last pair of north face boots had both soles literally become unglued after wearing them for 3 weeks. Sorels will last a season when they used to last three. Ordered these as my first Columbias, hope they last more than 3 months
