I haven't seen them in the NJ/NYC area Costco, but perhaps they carry them in-stores elsewhere?

Just a reminder. when you purchase flight tickets with gift cards, you lose all the protections provided by your credit card company.

Good point. However this could be a great play for business travelers who already fly Delta and get reimbursed from their employers and don't have to worry about cancellation or rebooking costs.

I'm a grad student, and my university recently enacted this dumb policy where you cannot be reimbursed for purchases made with a gift card. I got shanked $220 recently

I do not believe any credit card covers theft. Every credit card offers slightly different protections, like trip cancellation, interruption, luggage, emergency assistance etc. you need to check your credit card t&c to see what's covered.

For people do not need credit card protection. 10% is not bad. especially for those with Costco credit card.
