Nikon's entry-level DSLR is on sale at B&H. Includes body, 50mm lens, and camera grip. Don't overlook this model because it's a bit long in the tooth--it rates really well on objective tests (https://www.dxomark.com/Cameras/Nikon/D610) and is compatible with a ton of high-quality lenses. This is a great beginner's kit.

Body can be had used in excellent condition for $500-$600, lens for $150. It's not a bad deal, but honestly, on a 7 year old camera...

This is FAR from entry level as it's a Nikon pro body that happens to have a little age on it. This FF camera will deliver a outstanding image and still used by many for paid work. What's sweet is that it's paired with the outstanding f1.8G lens which is a must have be it for professional or enthusiast shooting. The beauty of Nikon FF or DX crop sensor bodies, is that even if 10 years old, they still are a excellent tool. I have a D7000, D5300, and D7200, and the D7000 gets the most frequent use. If I had a choice between their D7500 or D500, I would run with this D610.

I usually respect used purchases--better environmentally, cheaper. But, I think the advantages of buying new in this case outweigh the savings--known shutter count, full warranty, unblemished body. And, this also includes the battery grip which extends already decent battery life. And, while the tech is 7 years old, it still ranks as one of the best sensors in dxomark testing.

It comes with the AFS 50mm, I though it would be the AF, and it comes with the wifi adapter (it's not simple to use but better than nothing). This is a good deal for a FF, despite the age.
