The rebate seems pretty limited - it appears to be a 'store credit' after the fact. Important if you're not in driving distance of one of their stores.

* Mail-in Rebate is in the form of merchandise credit check, valid in-store only. Merchandise credit check is not valid towards purchases made on MENARDS.COM®.

Pretty much the status quo with any Menards rebate, nothing new here.

This is how all Menards rebates work. I added the text to the post for people who are not familiar with them. Thanks.

When did we start posting MIR deals as deducted price when it's a store credit/gift card?

This is $30 for a multimeter and $20 store credit.
NOT $10

Is there anywhere that will PM this? I don't like how much of a hassle their MIR's are. Everyone else has a system to submit rebates online....

Yeah, but they will still process rebates months past the mail in date

Everyone who shops Menards knows that the rebates are for untaxable store credit and Only untaxable store credit.
Menards has great deals if you can use the store credit, Rinse and Repeat and all free after rebate deals actually are free after rebate, No Tax.
Menards rebate checks when spent are not taxed so $1 purchased with Menards rebate credit only costs $1 no tax is applied.
There is a reason that Menards parking lots are more crowded than Home depot or Lowes parking lots, better deals.

Agreed. It's kind of uncommon outside Menard's so it's understandable. It's tough to write up a precise title for such a deal. I guess my take would be something like....

Southwire Compact Bluetooth Digital 600-Volt Cat III Multimeter + $20 GC rebate - $30 at Menards

And who needs a bluetooth meter? I wouldn't think it's for troubleshooting: Voltage correct or no voltage. Short or no short. Correct resistance or not. Over draw amps or not. Done. Move on.
I've not encounted such a situation, but maybe a scenario where you have the meter wired in one spot and have to go out of visual range to flip a switch or something and you can read the meter remotely via your phone?

Good point. And now you have me thinking of a scenario I run into sometimes. I have to read voltage on a rotating arm that is fenced off when running. Normally I just put the meter into Min hold, tie it to the arm, and when it stops rotating I check for low V. But a BT meter with real-time viewing could have some advantages.
