Nice OP. Too bad these are not the tempered glass protectors which are better on capacitive touch displays. Still good for basic protection though

I was thinking the same thing. A two pack of glass protectors go for around $7 and then you have a backup.

Most non-glass protectors also scuff up over time from the dock including the one I previously had on my Switch. I love most of Hori's stuff but not sure I would buy this.

Glass protectors are sooooo much easier to put on than plastic ones. I'm going glass all the way

I second this. The glass ones almost install themselves!

Also, unlike a phone it would be hard to shatter the glass ones because of the inherit design of the switch.

Even though this is plastic it's very high quality plastic made in Japan and I actually prefer it over glass for the Switch. Fairly easy to install and this will never shatter.

Glass. Glass. Glass! As others said, definitely a quality tempered 9H-hardness glass screen protector instead of this! Hori makes decent stuff and is a reputable brand, but PET makes for poor quality screen protection - scratches easily and will affect the clarity of the screen that it is covering. It's really only suited for "soft" touchscreens like the 3DS.

There's the 2-pk amFilm glass screen protector mentioned earlier in the thread that can be purchased on Amazon. Spigen and others make them as well.

Personally, I've had a glass protector from Anker (that they sadly no longer make) on my Switch since March 2017. I play primarily in handheld and I'm struggling to find even a scratch on the screen protector after what is almost now 3 years.
