I was thinking the same thing. A two pack of glass protectors go for around $7 and then you have a backup.

Most non-glass protectors also scuff up over time from the dock including the one I previously had on my Switch. I love most of Hori's stuff but not sure I would buy this.

Also, unlike a phone it would be hard to shatter the glass ones because of the inherit design of the switch.

There's the 2-pk amFilm glass screen protector mentioned earlier in the thread that can be purchased on Amazon. Spigen and others make them as well.
Personally, I've had a glass protector from Anker (that they sadly no longer make) on my Switch since March 2017. I play primarily in handheld and I'm struggling to find even a scratch on the screen protector after what is almost now 3 years.
