Pretty good reviews from the previous deals if I remember correctly. However, it has been cheaper.

It was recently $42 via Newegg, it was shipped out via Amazon. I was confused when I saw it in a clearly Amazon package. So far it's a pretty good set, sound is pretty good for a bluetooth headset, quite decent battery life, easy to put back in the case since it has a magnetic snap action. The ability to use each bud independently works better than most other ones in this range that I've tried. USB-C charge is nice if you also use a phone that has the same connector type. Would buy again if it breaks.

How is the call quality?

Looking for the wife, would like to talk to her without hearing the kids in the background.

TIA

Don't have experience with this model, but in general: If you have android devices that support APTX (which these are capable of) it will probably sound pretty good. iOS / Apple does not support APTX and regular old bluetooth audio quality for calls is pretty crappy. Hopefully others who use for conference calls and work can chime in and state otherwise, but I suspect they aren't ideal for iOS work call usage. The comments say the support Apple and AAC so maybe they are better than I imagine.

Aptx isnt really for call quality but playback quality, and theres more than one version. Airpods both the original and pro have a great reputation for call quality.

I recently bought a pair. The call quality is surprisingly good. You can you can hear the other party very well and most people on the other end say that I sound very good, unless there's a lot of background noise like music.

This is not on sale. Not sure why this is even posted, it has been much cheaper.

I bought this at $42 from the previous newegg deal, definitely a very good item I recommend even at $50, I had a pair of soundcore liberty air that these replaced due to my fault in forgetting the liberty airs in my pocket and going through the washer (they work now for only 10 seconds before dying). Things I like about these Soundcore Life P2 is the sound quality is great compared to old liberty air, price is cheaper than the old liberties ($64 sale price), the buttons are push type - the liberty air has capacitive touch which would accidentally skip songs or videos with an accidental hold of the ear piece, the case is a little bigger which for me is a plus because less chance I'd forget it's in my pocket when throwing in the wash.

Is there any audio lag when watching videos on iOS with these buds? Specifically, through streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, Prime Video, etc.

Currently use Jaybird X3 Sport and have obvious playback lag even when using Spotify.

A lot of these earbuds seem to pick up tons of ambient noise and thus "bad call quality". The question is if this one does it any better.

How is the mic quality though? I've bought my share of these type of brands. They sound quality is great in the earpiece but the mic ends up sounding like you're underwater.

I have the not-waterproof version of these, the Life Note, and I haven't experienced any lag watching videos on my iPhone or iPad. Have had them since around November of last year. Battery life is crazy good on these.

Life P2 mic was lousy (folks send I sounded like I was talking from other side of the room), and the sound is very tinny. I ended up with Liberty 2 Pro which has very good mic quality for calls and the sound is adequate.

Perhaps a firmware update has addresses the P2 issues I had?
