It will be tight but will work for a brisket and you should be good for a couple racks of ribs. The traeger bronson /tailgater series are smaller (300 Sq in) as well as the smaller pit boss grills (341 Sq in) at Walmart or Lowes. They are all about 50-90 Sq in smaller.

Not even sure if you are serious, but the main purpose of a pellet grill is to use pellets. If you want to use charcoal, buy a charcoal grill (plus they are infinitely cheaper).
