I haven't followed VPN pricing lately...is $3.49 a month good? It seems kinda pricey? The "bonus" is pretty much a crapshoot too, since the bottom "prize" is one whole extra month? I wouldn't even factor that in...

$42/yr is not really that special. I never pay more than around $40 for single year plans. Last summer I got a deal on Nord at Best Buy of all places.
This pricing is not that great. I am on my third year of Nord this year and I paid $99 for the 3 years. That was a good deal, but I wont be re-upping. Too slow for my taste, at times I prefer the speeds I used to get in PIA. Plus I had a lot of issues configuring it on multiple computers, some were significantly slower than others regardless of them having better hardware and hard line connections. Anyone have a good suggestion for a replacement VPN?
Another thing needs to beware is most of time these companies want you pay for couple years of service, once they got your money. You will receive some crappy services in the next few years
I think this deal is here since few months already. In fact you can apply 'MKVPN' (@MKBHD) code and get the same deal. But I really don't think they will give you an additional 3 years for free as OP said.

I got a lifetime Windscribe sub last month for I think $40. I certainly wouldn't spend over $100.

you gotta realize most of the VPN deals on SD
are not deals at all,
just ways SD makes a living off referral links.
