Just an FYI, you can NOT run 18650's in these. 6 AA's only. That really limits it for me and I'll probably pass. Peace
You can't use 18650 batteries in place of the AAs....
The 2 levels arent useful for every day use. They are too bright. It's useful for outdoor high beaming or indoor self defense.

You want low lumens for every day use. You dont want to night blind yourself every time you use your light .

Most people would get an 18650 battery light over 6 AAs. The 18650 will last longer and is smaller.

I'm a flashaholic. My daily carry is an AA size zebralight with a 14500. If you want to get days of usable light I'd carry a 18650 flashlight with lower modes...moon light ftw.

I grabbed the 9AA version about 6 months ago for the crazy price of $8.00 at a local Meijer. Great light with one of the smoothest focusing beams I've ever seen but I prefer the twist focusing system over sliders. I really don't mind that it takes so many batteries cuz I have a ton of rechargeable AAs laying around.

You may be able to order $45 worth of stuff from a store that has it for $14.87 for free delivery. Otherwise, shipping is I think $5.99.

Didn't have it at that price at my default HD so changed to my backup location and, sure enough, $14.87. Ordered two for in-store pickup. Thanks, OP!

Got 1, don't love the amount of batteries but I like having extra flashlights around that are decent quality. Won't replace my streamlight but for $15 it seems like a good back up.

That was my first thought as well. It's disappointing.
