so I bought an hdhomerun and Plex and the OTA reception is great, plugged into the exact same antenna. I already owned a qnap nas to host plex. Yup, it can't complicated just to cut your local cable channel carriers grip on you.
Sling's programming guide is terrible. Never got used to it.
Or you could look into youtubetv if you're going to get an internet channel aggregator. They have a lot of local market broadcasters.
Love Plex and hdhomerun, they just work.
