I find that gaterons are a little bit smoother and lighter on the actuation. I'm sure your lil nephew would appreciate this c:

i bought this for my son about 2 years ago during a black friday sale from best buy. its a fine keyboard. general consensus is that gateron reds are smoother than cherry reds. standard bottom row so no problem finding aftermarket keycaps.

Still using my Logitech g15 12 years after I bought it. Just ran the outer shell in the dishwasher and air dried it last week. Membrane pad. I bought a midrange cherrymx 2 years ago and hated it. Just too loud. Keeping my g15 as long as it still works.
Still have mine as well. My Logitech G5 still works like a dream as well

How?! My g15 only lasted a few years before the membranes were breaking down

I wish Cooler Master would bring back the MasterKeys Pro M RGB. Only one row wider than a TKL, but it has a numpad (and real Cherry MXs). Shoulda bought one when it was only $30 after MIR.
