if you like this protein then i suppose it's a good deal but a 42g scoop provides only 26g of protein. thats a lot of filler even for a slow digesting blend.

Do you have a recommendation for a 8 hour release protein with better protein contents? You seem like an expert. Please help us out.

I think in general it would be better to make your own blend. If you need it just before bed, Casein is fine. If you need a blend for post workout or between meals, half a scoop of whey and casein does the same thing.

If you want it all in one container, then there's Combat Powder, Dynamite Elite XT, BodyStrong, Ultimate Nutrition Syntha Gold. Still filler but slightly less so, typically 34g scoop for 25-26g of protein.

NutraBio Muscle Matrix Protein is probably the best, 30.5g scoop for 29.66g of blended protein.

Rivalus Promisil is probably second best, 30g scoop for 24g of protein.

Thanks for sharing. $75 shipping mark is way too steep. I also noticed that Dymatize contains less protein per serving (21g vs 26g from Phase8), has much higher cholesterol (75mg vs 50mg from Phase8), and higher fat (2.5g vs 1.5g from Phase8). I like that Dymaize has a higher iron content, but all things being equal plus shipping, I'll stick to this deal.

This OP deal is about the same as I pay for MuscleTech at Sams Club / Costco.

I looked at the ingredients and I agree with you, this OP deal is less cal, less sugar, more protein per scoop, slightly higher fat content. I ordered one.

Yea that's terrible. It's just a bunch of casein, and worst of all its low in total protein anyway.

Problem with Muscletech is that they have a dozen different product lineups at a dozen different price tiers, so their lower tier ones are REALLY shit on purpose.
