The Eufy Doorbell has built in storage to store videos. For us, the storage is enough to keep 2 weeks worth for a busy front door. You can also retrieve the videos to your device for longer term retention.
That's not true. I have this video doorbell and can watch past videos without a subscription. The videos are stored on the device and overwritten as needed, much like a dashcam. You can download videos from the doorbell to your phone to save permanently.

Seems like a good price. I think Amazon had it for $119 a few days ago when I checked.

Anyone know if this connects with the Eufy Hub and cameras?? I'm guessing yes but wanted to check.

I'm debating replacing the Nest cam to avoid the subscription and cloud services.

Iirc, this model doesn't link with the base station but will show up in the regular eufy camera app.

I have been contemplating purchasing the Nest video doorbell. So it is not a stand alone cam? Does it require a monthly subscription?

It's a stand-alone video doorbell with a wireless indoor chime and no monthly fees. I really like it.

I thought it got an update that it will. Either that or it's planned in a future update

It doesn't require one to view live feed, but is useless without the subscription. Eufy gives you all features without subscription plus better quality video. It will link to base station with future update.

The new model links to base station and can be battery only. Go for new one folks....$200 with base station.

Power goes out and you lose recording ability with this one.
which one is that, link?

thats misleading. Without subscription, you cant store past videos. Basically you can only watch live videos, which is useless. Main reason I switched to skybell.
