They're extremely comfortable but sound quality is lacking. Even at $80, there a better options for noise quality.

So only ANC is missing in this when comparing with QC series ?
Sound quality is same as QC series ?
How are these compared QC series?

I only used my friends pair.
They seemed pretty much exactly like the QC except no ANC.
They're worth this price for sure, if you're not super picky about sound quality. They're super comfortable and battery life is good. Battery life is not as good as my Aiwa, but comparable to my Plantronics. Again, I only used them for a couple days.
Sound quality was neutral, as someone already said here. But not so much the good kind of neutral, like my Aiwa. They just sound flat across the board. Not much bass, not much treble. Mids sound fine. I like my Plantronics more for a fuller and bassier sound, and I like my Aiwa for a more accurate sound.
With all that said, they're high quality headphones. Not worth $229, but I'm even a bit tempted at this price.
