Good deal. I bought this several months ago for $200. Takes a few extra moments to process documents but the print quality is very good.

Be warned that xerox printers don't print on "empty" tonor cartridges if you plan on refilling.

Triple check if your computer is supported...a lot of these Xerox machines are not readily compatible with a Mac.

Any idea if you use non-OEM cartridges with it?

Can't speak for their finances, but their workgroup printers are subpar. They're one of the few companies actually manufacturing printers (most brands slap their label on someone else's models), but I prefer almost any other brand. They do have decent enterprise management support, though.

edit: I was too harsh on my criticism of their quality. after thinking about the durability across multiple models, they aren't "garbage", but are definitely outclassed in quality. these cheap $150 price points are common. we bought dozens at that price without looking for a sale and is about what they are worth. They typically have high TCO, especially compared to HP PageWides.

I use refilled non-OEM cartridges all the time with my phaser 6500. I would thing it would work with this one too.
