Looks like the formaldehyde issue centered around specific Chinese laminate flooring that they stopped selling in 2015. Their solid wood flooring never tested high at all. If you are curious about the details (as I was) try this article: https://www.consumerreports.org/flooring/breathe-easier-about-your-flooring/
I have found it to be very good. 2 homes done with it. Almost impossible
To beat the pricing on their sales and no less quality than anywhere in my opinion for the solid 3/4" thick wood flooring at least
Pricing was too competitive, so we ended up going with them. About 1000 sqft of engineered Porterhouse Hickory and we couldn't be happier. Customer service wasn't too thrilling (just some kids running the place), but we did a DIY install.

have fun with cancer.. is it really worth it with 60 minutes documentary on them why risk cancer for $?
I'm at the point where I want to switch my tile to wood, but the installation cost per Sq ft is more than a lot of the wood I'm looking at. I'm not a dyi guy. Are there other options for install that are cheaper?

Have no idea regarding their Bellawood. Is it the same quality that is sold to other retailers or a lesser quality
