Maximized the deal by doing whats below
850 - 10% dell signup coupon - 15% urlhasbeenblocked - 200 dell gift card = 450
I will try selling the 200 gift card but if not, I got other things that i can buy from dell.
So effective cost is 450 for me!

It was really annoying because it used to play the "charging chime" sound, but I have since disabled that annoying noise.
Other than that, the monitor is great for productivity. I went from a 3 monitor setup (23|27|23) to this and haven't looked back, other than the fact that my desk is now so bare without all those monitors.
If you are using anything Apple, then I suggest a screen manager such as Magnet or similar that allows for snapping windows to pre-defined sections. The u3818dw is the perfect size for 3 windows open side by side (split into 1/3's), or my preference is primary taking up left 2/3s with browser/secondary taking up other 1/3.
I have this and it works fine with my 16" MacBook Pro. Haven't noticed sleep issues. 🤷🏻
Make sure you don't have Bluetooth devices set to wake the computer, this can cause issues. You can inspect logs for powerd and find out for sure.

The code works on the $950 monitor through the dell home page, but that isn't useful.
Is this a budget option? No. Is this a gaming monitor? No. But to say it's a bad deal because of either of that is silly.

This monitor will eliminate 2 side-by-side monitors (L24q-20, 2560x1440) and more importantly dozens of cables (4 power bricks, 2 video cables, USB-C dock).
