I see a lot of new tools sold on eBay that have been taken out of a kit. You keep the battery and sell the tool to someone who just needs the tools. It's a win-win without gaming the system

I'm not indicating that these are bad deals, but more of a PSA

Be aware, for the ridgid deals that include circular saw, it is the brushless gen5x model, not octane.

Looking to get into the Ridgid market. Looking for a impact, possible hammer drill, recip saw and circular saw. Whats the best price I could see that set up go on sale for?

Try to get about $75 per tool, that's what they prorate the tools to in the bundle deals.

be aware that the last ryobi tool promo included a lot of brushless tools

home depot has replaced those with non-brushless models (ie the reciprocating saw is non-brushless in this tool promo, and the circular saw isn't the full size brushless it's the smaller trim saw non-brushless)

I love and use Ryobi tools, all my battery powered stuff is Ryobi since I lost all my tools in a bad tornado and had to replace. The only thing I've had bad luck with is that Jig saw that is NOT brushless. It is the cheap one that is in this deal. It wont cut straight for jackshit. I would definitely get the better one or get another brand perhaps. I'm gonna have to do something because I can't use it without ruining my work Frown It just goes all over the place. I basically never use the one I have now Frown I would like to get the high beam spot light they have but it seems pricey. It is like 2500 lumen or something crazy, with an alternate cigarette lighter plug. It looks damn nice but Tool only is like $59 and no batt.

Corporate is well aware of how returns work and carved that out as an option rather than only allowing a full return. I haven't done that but only because i recently switched to Ryobi and I've been buying these bundles for the tools , too. There's no good reason for a moral objection here.
