Wrong. Obesity rates have tripled (TRIPLED) since the 1960s. That's a scientific fact, proven mathematically. 70% of Americans are overweight or obese. That is not genetic! It's actually estimated that only 10% of genes determine weight. Study truth, not BS PC propaganda. Weight determines if you have big thighs, not genes.
You are absolutely right. For thousands of years there was very little humans whom were overweight.
Now they brainwash you.
They basically diagnose you as an addict. Make you believe you are addicted to things. Now that thinking mechanism works against you and you think you can't quit. Be it cigarettes or caffeine etc.
It's genius marketing.
Same with obesity.
Some folks do have genetics that may make them a bit heavier. But others have what doctors/scientists call a disease or more accurately an eating disorder. There they go again with the "I'm helpless" labels/diagnosis.
Truth is. We need to respect ourselves more.
We have only 1 life. Only 1 body.
Being overweight does not just affect your appearance. It causes more stain on your entire body. I could imagine your knees, legs, foot, ankles will pay the ultimate price.
On top of deteriorating organs and bodily functions.
I say this with nothing but respect and hopefully to motivate. WAKE THE F UP!
Have some will power.
I can't afford to lose weight. I'm well over 6' tall and have religiously weighted 180-190 my entire life.
I am healthy, fit and very active.
But just this year, plagued with 2 simple surgeries. First on Jan 3rd l, second on Feb 3rd.
I've lost 30 lbs.
And I am eating adequately, just not as much.
Whatever the case. You can do it.
Don't listen to people with a hidden agenda.
If you need help or nutritional advice I am here.
I can even suggest healthier fast food options.
Just pray, have faith, stay strong, and love yourself.

I beg to differ, so does science. Plus the comment discussed body shape not weight, which is also heavily influenced by genes
