The Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin join other famous super heroes from the DC Universe including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to save Gotham City from destruction at the hands of the notorious villains Lex Luthor and the Joker.
You have to do it on Xbox 360 console, not on Xbox one cuz that was the way for me to achieve so by purchasing Xbox 360 games
Same thing happened to me. Auto charged my credit card. Called 1-877-696-7786. Apparently you can NOT use Microsoft credit to purchase Xbox 360 games.
Of course I was not told this until AFTER they initiated a refund to the credit card. Not I have to wait 3 - 5 days to get refund completed to buy the game again. Hopefully still on sale.
The solution has already been provided above. You cannot use Microsoft currency unless you are physically on a console (Xbox 360 or Xbox One). The issue here is that Backwards Compatible games can only be downloaded from a 360 console or via the Xbox.com Marketplace which only accepts valid payment options (Credit/Debit cards, PayPal, etc.). Since you can't access the Xbox 360 Marketplace via the Xbox One, you will not be able to purchase 360 games with Microsoft currency via the Xbox One console.
Excellent. This is by far my favorite of the LEGO Batman games.

That's not entirely true. I've bought Xbox One games on a computer using Microsoft credit before. It's only 360 games that cause a problem.

Recent $5 and $10 offers that Microsoft gave away in emails might be expiring soon.

That what he was saying. Digital Xbox 360 games purchase can ONLY be made on the 360 console IF utilizes MS credits
