Sonic Mania Plus will include an all-new Encore Mode, Sega said, which offers new ways to explore each of the game's acts and will come with some unspecified visual changes. The Plus version of the game will also include two new playable characters: Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel.

Also, plus will come in non digital. Non plus one was only released in digital version.

Is this old Sonic games repackaged for the switch or an actual new game in the old Sega Genesis style

Honestly this game is on par with sonic CD or sonic 2/3. The soundtrack kicks so much ass too. Just buy it already
