It's not, if you're willing to take a bit of a gamble. But for $20, as long as it lasts a few months without shutting down, you've probably gotten your money's worth out of it. People love to point out that "lifetime" means lifetime of the VPN. Well, duh.

Look at Windscribe, though. They sold lifetime as a promo for a few years, but have stopped, and now people wish they could still get in on that. Could be the same thing here. For $20, you may get years and years of a VPN service that some day people wish they could still get lifetime. Or it may go tits up in a few months. Up to you if any of it is worth it to you.

EDIT: Try promo code BFCM19 to make it $18. ENJOY15 was supposed to take 15% off, making it $17, but I couldn't get it to work.

old review, but here is their updated their review on the 2020 program update

I have and used their new update. The program has which servers are available. Sometimes server cities go down and its becomes not listed on the app's server list.

I still use it; however still disconnects randomly when on ikev2 (even though its faster than UDP protocol) but it auto-reconnects (might have to tick the option). If you want more stable connection use UDP protocol.

I only use their USA servers and it works great for torrenting.

The new 2020 update is way better than the 2019 version (because they it still had servers listed even though they were removed and it won't connect because they removed them)

Would recommend for cheap torrenting VPN nothing else, also they have Netflix USA server on their UDP protocol.

Also, bought this back in June 2019 for $5 lifetime - 1 device only.

Can't you setup a VPN with your home router or a raspberry pi?

We'll see how it works for streaming Prime from Japan, because windscribe lifetime was purchased for the same reason and hasn't since almost immediately after purchase. (Still use for public/business WiFi, though)

After reading the review from pc world in the post above i just am thinking if the SPEED is fast enough for me. I picked up a VPN during Xmas KeepSolid VPN Unlimited Lifetime Subscription for $15 this works great and speed is really good.

I've been wanting to get a VPN for my home computers, iPhones, streaming devices, etc. I figure I can download a program for my computers and phones, but my Roku? My question - how does this setup for a streaming device? Just the download of an app?

Perhaps I won't play the random lotteries the rest of the month and gamble on this instead.

I could be wrong but I feel like this VPN has been around a while. Seems like as good a gamble as any for a lifetime sub.

Roku requires you to set up your router to use VPN. https://support.fastestvpn.com/tu...vices/roku
