We have this grinder in the office. I've personally used it to grind beans 3x every morning, 5 days a week, since May 2017. The afternoon coffee drinkers also grind beans every day.

I can say this thing thing will last.

Though if you're using the fine setting for espresso beans, it WILL clog up after a round or two requiring you to disassemble the the whole thing and knock the grinds loose.
I like mine a lot. It's been used almost every day for a few years. This is a great price for it.

Typically, I hear people suggest buying a different type of grinder for espresso beans so that makes sense that it is not working properly for you with that type of grind.

FWIW, I have both the 560 and 565 models, and while the innards are the same, the 565 just feels so much better to use than the 560. It must just be the weight of it or something. My 565 has seen daily use for years and shows no signs of stopping.

I track the price of this and the full metal version for years. I pulled the trigger, and was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was and the footprint size.
It made a very big mess, and I ended up returning it.
I think that oxo is comparable but louder

I have the KitchenAid full metal beast (for it for free)

I use the grinder every day. Fairly consistent grinds, or at least much more than my previous Hario hand grinder. My only complaint is that after grinding, you have to shake and smack it to get the last tablespoon or so of grounds to come out.

I've read encore is better. More grind size options. Less remains. But also twice the price

bought this back in april of 2019 with a similar deal. been using this daily to grind 4tbsp worth of coffee and it runs like a champ.

no complaints, would suggest this to anyone looking to grind their beans daily. my only regret is not buying the purchase protection plan because of how often I use it and my fear of it breaking. no issues yet though

Great machine! I upgraded to the Baratza Virtuoso, but this machine is money especially on this price point.
