Correct. Boost is 100% Sprint.
I thought Boost Mobile was a Sprint subsidiary ... Maybe it's different in your area? Here, Boost uses Sprint towers.
You can drop it after the first month

Can you lower the $60 plan to the lowest plan possible after the 1st month?

Also, it appears as if Cricket runs on the AT&T network--I'm currently on Boost Mobile which runs on tmobile and it's been great. Is AT&T a spotty network (as Sprint is)?
AT&T is better then T-Mobile for overall coverage and definitely better than Sprint.

Yea, I've done the deal back when they had the cheap iPhone 6s and was able to be unlock through the att portal. $120 for a 7 isn't bad for a future Costco trade in but if only we knew Costco's new 'rules'

What's the new rules for Costco or what happened?

According to one of those old Costco threads, a wireless advocate employee said that they are tired of customers canceling their line earlier than 90 days. Might be true because we haven't seen a T-Mobile/Costco deal for a month. So who knows what the future terms will be or if they ever bring it back.
