In every monitor thread, you'll always have the people saying you can't even look at a 27" or bigger monitor unless it's 1440p or higher resolution. In reality, most everyone I know is fine with 1080p at 27-32" for "normal" office use. In fact, I just replaced someone's 27" 1440p monitor with a 32" 1080p monitor, and he couldn't be happier.

If you don't know why you need higher resolution, most likely you don't need it. If you think everything looks too big now and you'd love to cram a lot more info on the screen even if everything (especially text) looks a lot smaller, then higher resolution is for you.
The picture of the back looks like you can mount it. It has vesa holes...

Can you post a link to that? I doubt it's possible to get a screen at that resolution and size.

is the screen resolution ok for a monitor this big? Feels low but I am not informed enough to determine if it is good enough or not, if I use it only for normal office work

Depends on how far away you sit from it really. In my opinion... 1080p at 32" is not that great. My cutoff for 1080p would be 24-25" range.

It was $129.99 during Black Friday sale last year, which if you threw in the $25 coupon like in this deal, became $104.99.
