Crappy that they won't ship to Hawaii despite being an Amazon company.

I have an Excalibur 9 tray, it really is awesome if you like to make jerky and a huge improvement over the $30 tower variety. The biggest advantage it has is that the heat blows from the back so all the trays get dried evenly and you don't have to rotate. Many competitors(clones) have emerged at a lower price point that also offer the heating element in the back. I suspect that they will do just as good of a job as the Excalibur and if I had not already purchased one I would seriously consider a cheaper option, even though I am pleased with what I bought.

Why does this thing need so much hard drive space?

i have excalibur but it is overhyped. Major issue is the trays are really big. look at dimensions. Can't fit this in a regular sink and becomes a huge hassle.
