Planned obsolescence and just the overall goal of capitalism - making profit, a repeat customer is better for the economy.
The reason I am upset. Society is built just for profits, screw pollution, who cares about trash crisis, energy crisis, water crisis, environmental destruction, air quality, clean water, species genocide.
'Capitalists' have fooled humanity into believing we need high consumerist consumption to have functioning society. Now with AI? All these humans are being replaced and the majority is going to end up screwed. UBI is not coming to save us.
Then I bought a low tier Samsung for $1500. This was pre covid and it's still running strong
Spending more means nothing
It supposedly has a low failure rate, since there are very few working parts according to the review. But there aren't a lot of technicians out there that can fix it. But most buyer's comments seem to be positive in terms of longevity.
