Good deal here, called my local store to see if they had it and they told me it was a deleted item so the online listing is probably clearance.

Is Oven Safe to 400 degrees normal? Most people cook higher than that.

Usually a holiday item. I bought them when they were on sale late last year. Few years ago they had the wave version sheet pans and I use those all the time. These nonstick ones scratch easily if you insert the cooling rack so avoid that. I use parchment at up to 450 in the sheet pans. Use them a lot for cookies. Sometimes I use cooling racks inserted into sheet pans in the oven for elevating things like baked potatoes, kabobs, marinated meats for crispness.

I have yet to find a nonstick sheet that holds up. I like Nordic Ware - most of my sheets are - but I prefer the bare aluminum, specifically the Prism line.

Ah yes that is what I meant, not sure why I said "wave". Use these pretty much everytime I use the oven for meals. https://www.nordicware.com/bakewa...m-bakeware

Recently used one to make football shaped and decorated brownies, didn't want to insert cookie cutter into the nonstick ones so I double lined the prism ones with parchment for the batter. Used these pans instead of traditional cake pans so they would bake up lower for the cutter to go through.

Yep! They're great. The "big" sheet cost fluctuates, but they slip below $15 at Walmart on a semi-regular basis (currently $15.71, which is pretty low already): https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nordic...1/46063418

Same price at Amazon, actually, with additional $0.53 coupon, bringing it down to $15.18: https://www.amazon.com/Nordic-War...B00Y6PRASK

I've often thought of getting a bigger one because sometimes you just need a little more room to put all your veggies down single layer.... but I like that the 2 half sheets just barely fit inside the oven side by side on the same rack.. The previous Costco holiday deal was $12.99 for 2 prism half sheets + 1 prism quarter sheet but that must have been 3 or 4 years ago... I saw plain/non-prism quarter sheets on a recent trip too.

The advantage of the big sheet - for us - is that they fill up an oven rack (basic, cheap electric glass top unit) with only a little room to spare, maximizing the cooking surface. We tend to roast ~2lbs of veggies at a time, and it works well. I can't fit two half sheets side-by-side without one being on top of the other a little bit (at least with the two non-Nordic Ware half sheets I have). It might be that a nicer oven would have a bit more interior space than we've got.

That said, it is a big sheet, and can be a bit unwieldy. The 2x Prism half-sheet deal sounds awesome; I'd jump on that if it came up again...but I can't justify spending more money on a single sheet than the "big" sheet costs.

I did just create a deal alert based on your post, though!

YMMV these might be at your local warehouse for $9.97 - my Costco has had hundreds of these marked down for months now. They do seem nice quality, BUT I'm considering returning them because they're too tall for my dishwasher and seem like a pain to wash by hand in the sink (also too big for the sink).

I purchased these previously. Would not buy again.

Biggest issue (for me) is that these are not dishwasher safe. For the sheets, it's not a huge deal. However, cleaning the rack by hand is a PITA.

I ended up buying a dishwasher safe rack on Amazon and junked the one included in the Costco set. The new rack by itself cost more than this Costco deal, but still well worth it for the convenience.

I don't think it's normal. These likely do 450 like the other nordicware pans but just in case I'll pass.

I would recommend stainless steel instead. Safer and healthier.

Something like this.

P&P CHEF Baking Sheets and Racks Set (2 Sheet + 2 Rack), Stainless Steel Baking Pan Cookie Sheet with Cooling Rack, Size 16''x12''x1'', Non Toxic & Healthy & Easy Clean https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BT2N...tEb3V563F6
