Just an FYI, this has been at $6 or less for the last 4 months on Amazon.

Semi-unrelated, but the kids versions of this brand of bottle just had another recall. If you have any of the kids bottles, give them a look. If they have a black base to the spout and a black cover, they're included in the recall and pose a choking hazard.

Had this for about a month from the last deal. So far it's good with no leaking issues, but sometimes the release button won't completely open the cover requiring you to lift it yourself.

I have had a wonderful experience with Contigo and their lifetime warranty. I would recommend any product from them for a no questions asked lifetime replacement warranty.

I have the metal one from contigo for coffee and it's the best thing at keeping things hot I've ever had. If I needed a water bottle I'd most definitely be buying this. The quality of that travel mug made me a fan for life.

Wow this went FP? It's a plastic bottle that the ring seems can be instantly snapped off. It's still freaking $5. Maybe.... $2..... or less I'd think about it. FP really?
I bought a config bottle from jcp 3 years ago for $3. They were $13 and I had a $10 off coupon. The cashier accepted it. Walla. I got it for $3. Now that the spout wasn't functioning well enough. I made a complaint about it and got another sent to me for free as lifetime replacement.

The bottles are great for everyday use except the spout issue I have. It's not sucking the water well enough through the attached straw. But these are sturdy bottles and have dropped it a few times without breaking it
