The story was not very good. Of the few characters from 2 that they brought back, they did not include them much into this story. Many just had cameos at best.
The world as a whole and "homebase" Sanctuary are like mazes. I'm all for open world but these areas are hard to figure out where to go and you need to travel long distances to get to your destination. Ex: You might need to go west but you are in a long valley and there is a small cave that leads you the way you need to go, but the game does nothing to point that out.
The main story line was not good at all. The ending fell flat and was anticlimactic. Hopefully the updates and DLC will improve the game. I don't think I'll be trying it again any time soon. I'm not ruling it out for the future though.

Borderlands 2 is ARGUABLY the best FPS of the year, and it almost is in a new hybrid genre of an RPG+FPS....its really an RPG Shooter,and i think it is one of the best games of all time...very unique but also very well done and, the online/multi is the MOST fun I've had online gaming
i hope BL3 is as good, as Ive yet to try it, but if its like BL2 at all, I'm in

Never played the series before and bought it on Stadia. Not sure how many hours in, best guess around 30, and it is really fun, level 20 now

You're comment doesn't shoot holes in anything. Your ranty opinions don't make up everyone's minds. The playerbase for BL3 is HUGE and the Reddit/Discords/other Forums are crazy busy. The first DLC was really good and they are constantly releasing free events
