CPo outlets has this 20% coupon for a lot of Makita tools.
MAKITA20
This Mac700 seems to be a pretty good deal, and the kit on the FP is 20% off the 299 as well.

6 piece kit- $299 - $59.8 = 239.20

If you're worried about the tank size you can add on a piggy tank if you have one to increase it's storage. When doing a lot of framing i often connect a piggy tank and it works like a champ.
If it ever quit. I'd pick it up again.

Seems like the $20 off $100 stacks as well but I didn't check out with it.
And these are new, not refurbs... that's a misconception about CPO that's it's all refurbs.
Actually what I bought it for hoping it would be big enough to handle our occasional texturing work.
Thank you!

This one?
I don't think that gun also qualifies for the $20 off $100 but ~ $210 is a great deal with the include 2 + 1 free 5.0Ah batteries

Sorry, yea, my post was confusing. The $20 off didn't apply to the drywall gun, it's only for a few woodworking tools.
There is some crossover, but not enough I needed to get over the $100 mark of woodworking tools.

- 2.0 HP max
- 50% duty cycle
- Oil-Lubricated pump
- 2.6 Gallon Tank
- 3.3 cfm @ 90 PSI
- 3.8 cfm @ 40 PSI
- 130 PSI max
- 80 dB
- 52.0 lbs
General takeaways are that it is heavy and a bit clumsy to carry around, but if you can get past that, it is one of the best smaller compressors available. It has a high duty cycle for its size (most pancakes are 20-30%), very fast fill (1 min), very low noise (comparable to California Air Tool, but with better specs), high HP for its size, and decent CFM numbers. The MAC2400, its bigger brother, is also highly respected.$150 is the lowest I've seen the MAC700.

80db is pretty loud. I just checked a couple small California air tools products. One was 56db, another was 60db. There's a huge difference between 60 and 80db.

5.3 CFM at 90 PSI as opposed to 3.3, or 4.2 on the MAC2400. Can you even HVLP spray with this unit?

There's an automatic $20 off $100 spent on Makita woodworking tools.
It's on CPOs front page (or was last night, didn't look today)
