Decent shoe at this price. Great support, but not as comfortable as other Brooks shoes that i have had.

You mean compared to Brooks Ghost? Or which model is more comfy?

Nice deal. I got these for $55/shipped about a month ago. BTW, these are designed to be a fast, lightweight trainer with good energy return. If you're heavier, or just wearing them as casual shoe, they're likely to be less comfy than shoes that are optimized to be plush.

I got in on the same deal like you did. I would also concur with your assessment of the purpose of the shoe versus the ghost. I have three model years of the ghost they are certainly more comfortable.

So these are better than Ghost for running?

From what I have read online, the launch 6 is more suited to shorter and faster runs and the ghost are meant more for longer distance running. I've currently been using the launch for HIIT classes and it's been really good to me

I have both, and that's exactly how I use them. The Launch a less cushy, snappier shoe. My feet want to turn over faster in them.
