Lowest price yet but mixed reviews talk about fragile frame and spotty noise isolation capabilities.
I have two of these and I wouldn't describe it as being fragile as much as it's simply very lightweight. I don't take these on trips tho bc they re so lightly built, they don't fold and don't come with a case. They are arguably one of the most comfortable cans I own and have owned however. Sound quality is very good too. The biggest issue I really have with them is that you don't sometimes have to power cycle the headset to get a solid Bluetooth handshake/connection. I'm suspecting it has something to do with the somewhat poor design of the power slider button not landing in exactly the right spot sometimes. That's just speculation on my end but would seem to explain why they sometimes suddenly shutdown when it didn't make a proper connection. So - I love these for comfort and sound quality - but they can be frustrating. If youre just gonna use them as wired cans then I guess the connection issue isn't an issue anymore. For this price I think they re hard to beat.
This retailer is known for bad service and horrible quality control. Do searches to read all the horror stories.
We all have different experiences. Plantronics has always been solid for me though. I don't have this headset but I've used various other headsets Plantronics headsets at work every day for years.
FYI - Plantronics made the headsets for the first moon landing (and other missions). I saw the headset of either Neil or Buzz on display once. Pretty cool, in my opinion...
I got this model about a year ago and liked them so much I recently bought another.
I don't find them fragile at all, but I don't have kids or pets and don't treat them roughly. The ear cups fold flat and they come with a fabric bag so you can store them to reduce the chance of damage when you're not using them.
Note I don't use them on-the-go, just around the house. I would use something smaller and lighter for on-the-go.
That said, these are fairly comfortable to wear, which is a big factor in why I bought another. I usually wear glasses and it's not an issue.
I am fine with the Bluetooth sound quality, but I use them mostly for podcasts and listening to TV, but also for listening to Blu-rays when I don't want to disturb others.
Pairing them can be a bit uncertain as it seems to call every device "Phone 1", but I've been able to pair it to multiple devices (eg a phone and a transmitter) and I can't recall a dropped connection.
I don't find latency an issue when watching video.
I don't use them in noisy environments and haven't used them as a communication headset so can't speak to "noise-isolating" capabilities.
I should also mention that I can't vouch for the claimed 18 hours but it does seem like the battery lasts a long time. A voice tells you the battery level when you turn it on, and also when it is low - you get ample warning before it shuts off. It does take several hours to charge from a standard USB port.
Frontpage not based on user ratings, but paid up by the store.
SD, Stop promoting stores with negative reputation. Don't get me wrong, this is not for me, it's for you. You have brand reputation yourself, and this is a bad reflection on it. This is what will be end of Amazon one day. I know this is what brings in revenues, but not being selective hurts your brand.

The manufacturer, however, has great customer service and replacement policy.

I would never recommend anyone to buy from them.

Noise cancellation on a successful diet.
