Do these still convert to ultimate? Or is it a weird conversion? Like 1 3 month card equals 2 months ultimate or anything like that? Thought I saw posts on a previous deal saying there was some conversion like that ? Or maybe I read wrong

I think gold codes convert to 2 months of ultimate if you have ultimate active, if not its 3 months of gold only. No ultimate. Same goes for regular game pass codes I believe. The cdkeys 3 month game pass code for 9$ is a better deal then this if you want to extend your ultimate.
Bought 2, 3month game pass code from cdkeys for 9$ each to extend my ultimate for 4 months. I would go for that deal instead of this if your looking to extend your ultimate.

FWIW, I have a current game pass ultimate subscription. I thought buying this would extend that by 2 months (like previous 3-month gold subs have), however, I was greeted by this when I entered the code:
"Redeeming your Prepaid Xbox Live Gold 3 Month code will automatically convert to 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and will be added to your current Xbox Game Pass Ultimate account. By redeeming this code, you agree to this conversion."
If I'm not badly mistaken, the previous successful 3-month gold --> 2-month ultimate conversion I did was with a deal sold directly by Microsoft (this one is sold by Newegg). I've perused the forums, and I've seen people having varying levels of success with keys purchased from vendors like CDkeys. Not sure if there's any actual correlation between key redemption outcome/conversion and the seller, just sharing my personal experience. I hope this in some way helps perspective buyers. Take with a grain of salt, YMMV, etc.

EDIT:
I stand corrected. After looking at the chart posted right above me, I went back and checked my last purchase. It was a 3-month game pass, *NOT* live gold. Mystery solved!
Did this yesterday and worked flawlessly! 24.99 discounted to $10. Purchased 6 (3 month)cardsand got 6 free months by adding each card separately and turning on/off recurring billing
If I already have ultimate pass, and want to go back to gold. Do I need to wait for it expires first before I add more code to my account? Assuming my auto renew is turn off

Yes you need to wait or it will just extend your ultimate.
On another note, this deal is lukewarm at best. Comes out to $52 per year. With the family Dollar deal going even more so.
