I don't have any experience with the Bethesda launcher. Is it good/stable?
Every retailer/website that is selling PC version of the game is providing an activation code via bethesda.net launcher. So at this point it's irrelevant unless we buy it directly from Steam which is selling at full price of 60.
Even Steam users have to do a one time login to Bethesda and link their Bethesda account on Steam. With that the family sharing option goes out of the window. They have done this to enable cross play between Steam users and Bethesda launcher users. So having a steam version has no advantages.
Why pay full price for steam version unless Steam also sells this for same pre-order discount price.
I'm sure this is going to be a great game, but it's going to be heavily discounted shortly after launch just like Doom 2016. Decent deal if you want it now, but I'm a huge fan of Doom and I think I'll wait.

What about the pre-order extras? I'm a little torn.
