If you grew with PC gaming in the 1990s and 2000s, you know the Command & Conquer franchise. One of the most legendary real-time strategy series in the PC space, even now that the series hasn't seen a major release in years, fans still fondly remember of the series, and many still play them to this day.
The franchise started with one of the most remarkable titles in the genre. The original Command & Conquer set the standard for the series in gameplay: build your base, gather resources, get your troops ready and go for battle against the opponent. Other features that are staples of the franchise is its story mode, packed with full motion videos, balanced gameplay and in the most recent games of the serie like Red Alert 2, multiplayer battles.
While the franchise is mostly composed by RTS games, there's also Command & Conquer: Renegade (also included in this package). Renegade is a FPS and TPS mix which sees the player fighting in the first Tiberium War (from the original C&C). Players will receive different objective in the various levels present in the game, but there's often hidden task that can be done to make missions easier and discs which will unlock the map.
Regarding the best titles in the collection, you will definitely want to check the three Red Alert games as well as the original Command & Conquer. Renegade, as described above, is an interesting experiment that hasn't aged all well. Command & Conquer 3 is also one of the great games in this collection that, differently than the FPS / TPS mix, aged like fine wine. Avoid Command & Conquer 4.
Here's a list of every game included in this pack:
• Command & Conquer
• Command & Conquer: The Covert Operations
• Command & Conquer: Red Alert
• Command & Conquer: Red Alert: Counterstrike
• Command & Conquer: Red Alert: The Aftermath
• Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun
• Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun Firestorm
• Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2
• Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge
• Command & Conquer: Renegade
• Command & Conquer: Generals
• Command & Conquer: Generals: Zero Hour
• Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
• Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars: Kane's Wrath
• Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
• Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3: Uprising
• Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight

Be aware that you have to sign in to Origin which is, legitimately, the only frustration I have. Used to just leave my ZeroHour CD in and could play anywhere.
(Haven't tried to play when NOT connected to the internet, I just know I have to sign in to Origin to play each time).

Thank you! Maybe what I am remembering is network play was an issue on Win 10?! I'm getting old my brain doesn't work as well. 😆
Anyone that loves this collection is getting old!
I haven't tried network play, so that could be an issue.
Keep trying.
Nothing beats Star Craft 1 when it comes to real time strategy. Starcraft 1 was perfectly made.
