Just be warned I ordered a phone from them last month and it took 2 weeks to ship, still a good deal for low usage users

This is a decent low cost smart phone for users that want to switch up to a beginner smart phone. I owned this phone until I purchased the Motorola e5 for both my wife and I. Plus the 1 year card with 1500 Minutes/Text/Data would cost you $50, so this is a good deal. And if you are a new customer with HSN there is a "HSN10" code that will take $10 more off the cost of the phone. So, for $39.99 + tax you will get this phone with free shipping included until 3/31/2020, or it sells out.

I just need the service days/minutes. Would it be ok to buy this, activate to get the minutes (and consolidate with existing minutes/data etc.), and then transfer everything back to existing phone. Essentially dont care of this handset (just want the service days and minutes).

i used to like these deal, i bought them all the time just for the minutes.. But I feel too guilty contributing to the everlasting electronics landfill. some poor kids made this phone and it wont even get used. sucks. they sell similar cards on ebay, sometimes on sale for 45, usually 55.

My wife and I buy these deals and activate them on the Tracfone site and then transfer our time & minutes to the new phones. Have done this at least 6 times with no issues. We have not transferred the days & minutes back to our old phones, so I cannot say for sure, but I have read that some people do this.

yes you can do that and then sell phone. A little hassle but cheaper than buying annual service cards. Also at least once or twice when I did this the claimed the old phone needed a new SIM when I went to transfer back (even though it of course was just recently being used) so I was down a couple days until they shipped me one.

The Tracfone eBay store also sells a year of service (1200/1200/3gb data - less minutes but double the data) for $50 if you don't want another out of date minimal spec phone.
