On another note, bhphotovideo also same price... might be better option for some users to avoid the sales tax.
Endurance cards are not necessarily better than a quality standard SD card, even when high writes are concerned.
There are technical reasons for this, but for practicality sake: Trusting one endurance card in a fixed location will not prevent "acts of god" or theft.
A better practice is buying multiple cards, verifying that they're good by using testing software, and then regularly swapping them out and backing them up.
Better yet would be setting up your dash cam to automatically upload footage when connected to your WiFi.
