Probably not. Wait for the next gen of GPUs to come out. The 5700 has terrific performance for this price but it's maybe only a 25-30% upgrade in FPS over your 1660S. That might be worth it but it comes at the cost of power draw, heat, and potentially buggy drivers (although the newest ones might have largely fixed the issues).

I'm in the same boat. I want an AMD gpu, to go with Ryzen cpu, but the best under 300$ I think is the msi 1660 super I bought and put in a week ago. This is tempting, but I would wait and oc the 1660s

Literally in the same boat. I have ryzen 5 cpu Got the 1660 super last week. Got a good deal at $180 so this puts this card at $100 over that one. And not sure if 20 to 30 percent bump is worth that money!

This is why the 5600 xt price makes no sense. Same with the 5500 xt. They need to be priced at like $150 and $250 to make sense

I am a brand loyalist AMD ftw however ATI not offering 10-bit per channel color on their consumer gpu while Nvidia does is morally offensive. I will support an innovative product stack but if they want to act like Apple and stiffle industry wide innovation, then Nvidia gets my vote for render.

Cpu ryzen 5 2600, gpu msi gtx 1660 super, ram ballistix tactile tracer 2×8 3200mhz, mobo msi b450 tomahawk max, storage samsung 970 evo plus 500gb, noctua cpu fan, psu Corsair 600w, case msi gungnir 100
I overclocked it decent. Way better than the 1660ti stock. Just behind the 2060

Evoke is technically a higher tier card compared to the Mech. The evoke should clock slightly higher and run cooler.
