It's easy to make both SSDs into a single drive letter in Windows, if that is what you want.

Open Disk Management, convert both SSDs to dynamic disks, and extend the C drive volume. Now you have one large C drive.

The r2 has a design similar to the area 51M, and from what I'm reading, has RAM soldered onto the board (yuck)

Also looks like the M2 may not have a 2.5" SSD spot, just 2 nvme drives. Might have a bigger battery though, not sure offhand

Been a few years since I looked into it, but spanned volumes do not support TRIM, so you would take a performance hit combining two SSD's in the long run. Would it be greatly visible probably not, but still something to take into account.

This looks like a pretty solid machine. I've been wanting to spend a little less, but I was on the fence about the r1 last week and this is a better machine (though pricier).

Configure it and it will tell you want you can add. If you add a 1tb drive you can only pick the 60 watt battery
