Free $1 Donation to Red Cross For Verizon Up Members

If you are a VerizonUp member, under the "Bonus Rewards" section you should find a link to redeem a free donation to the red cross. You do not need to use a monthly credit to get a free code good for a $1 donation (paid for by Verizon).

I'm a Nashville resident who saw my neighborhood of Germantown get demolished by a tornado this week. Every little bit helps, so take 20 seconds out of your day and donate via Verizon Up -- it doesn't cost you a penny. Thanks!

I got the code but the Red Cross website says minimum $10 donation. How do I donate the $1? Where do I put this code?

Edit: nevermind. The code means absolutely nothing. Just by claiming it they donate $1 "on your behalf."

Remember to actually use the code after redeeming. Just claiming it doesn't complete the donation.

After claiming, hit the Use Now button and enter your code. Just did this a few minutes ago!

Thanks for doing what the Verizon web site should have done. Although I have no interest in signing back into my account to get the code again.

I tried with the link Verizon provided but there was nowhere to input a code. Gave up after a few minutes.

Success! Your code has been received.

Verizon will make a donation to the American Red Cross in support of disaster relief.

Verizon will donate to the American Red Cross $1 for every code redeemed under Verizon Up for Red Cross Donations from March 1 - March 31. Codes have no monetary value. Your redemption is not tax-deductible. The American Red Cross will not receive your contact information or acknowledge your redemption of points.

Verizon Wireless is helping people affected by disasters like storms and countless other crises by making a gift to American Red Cross Disaster Relief.

Not sure if you're serious or trolling but if you actually read the details, it states you cannot.

Thanks to the OP for posting. I was going to make this my first listing, but saw this as I logged in, so you beat me to it LOL. I hope a lot of people take the 5 minutes to do this.
